Biography
Taylor is a lifelong learner, dog mom, amateur foodographer, and adventure seeker passionate about enhancing the employee experience through empathy and dedication. Beginning her career in human resources in 2016, she has worked in a variety of industries, including technology, non-profit, and wholesale distribution. Her most recent role is HR Manager at Innovia Consulting, a Microsoft partner, where she continues to grow with the company during a period of rapid growth, global expansion, and transition.
Taylor began her SHRM volunteerism in the Human Resource Management program at Western Technical College, where she served as the collegiate chapter president for one term before serving as the collegiate chapter president at Viterbo University. She joined the La Crosse Area SHRM board in 2019 as the Workforce Readiness Chair and is now the President-Elect. She joined the WI SHRM Council in 2022 as the Programming Director and has been a part of the WI SHRM Conference SMILE Team since 2022!
Taylor will jokingly refer to herself as a degree collector when referencing her mission to be a lifelong learner. Her most recent accomplishments include a Master of Business Administration from Viterbo University, passing the GPHR exam, and successfully recertifying her SHRM-CP.
