Workplace policies are so much more than a document. They’re a powerful statement of what an employer does and does not stand for, and (when implemented well) can play a big part in building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. Join us at the Premier Park Hotel in Madison on February 19, 2025 for a networking reception and/or February 20, 2025 for our 2025 Workplace Policy Conference.
Our conference will open with an engaging keynote by Emily M. Dickens. She will explore the essential role of civics education in navigating the complexities of workplace policy and compliance. This session emphasizes the importance of HR professionals being well-versed in governmental processes and legislative frameworks to effectively advocate for their organizations.
As the workplace evolves, organizations must address critical challenges, including talent acquisition and retention, holistic employee support, and ethical use of employee data. Companies that proactively design robust workplace strategies will position themselves as employers of choice.
This conference is designed to equip HR professionals with the tools and insights needed to navigate emerging workplace challenges and ensure success in the future of work.
A $40 administrative fee will be charged for conference cancellations received before or on February 6, 2025. Requests for refunds after February 6, 2025 will be denied unless there are extenuating circumstances which prevent an attendee from finding another person to attend the conference in their place. An extenuating circumstance may include an unexpected death in the family or medical emergency. Proof of the hardship will be required. Changing workloads and/or staffing levels will not be considered valid reasons. These requests will be reviewed by members of the WI SHRM Executive Council, Workplace Policy Chair and the Conference Liaison Director on a case-by-case basis.
