Workforce Readiness

  • This toolkit was designed to help you get started in your Chapter role.  It is meant as a guide to help formulate ideas.  Downloadable file:  WI SHRM Workforce Readiness Toolkit
  • SHRM Center for a Skills First Future launched on June 2, 2025
    • Building Employability Skills, employees will need to be continuously learning.
    • Skills First Website – evaluate where employees are with skills, fill out and get action items.
    • Skills First Credential $995 for members $1,345.00 for non-members
    • Vendor database – will continue to add new resources to the vendor directory
    • SHRM is Launching a pilot program in the future. This is very new and may be an interesting option for a chapter to get involved at the start.
  • Job Pods are growing in the state of Wisconsin within the library system. The 2 areas of the state in which they are closest are Green Bay Chapter of SHRM and Chippewa Valley SHRM.
