We will need Volunteers in the following areas:
• Programming - Be an usher and/or introduce speakers during break-out sessions
• SHRM Booths - Assist with the SHRM Book Store and SHRM Foundation • Registration - Assist with the registration process by working at the Volunteer and/or Registration desks • Accommodations – Assisting with exhibitor lunches and/or directing attendees during meal times • Activities - Greet and direct attendees during evening entertainment |
Volunteering is a great way for to:
• Be involved - as the future HR leaders, volunteering will be a great opportunity to see what the HR world has to offer
• Network - with more than 1,200 attendees at the conference, volunteering provides an opportunity to build your network and meet new people
• Gain experience - volunteering looks great to future employers, as well as provides an opportunity to do something you may not have thought of doing before
• Provide assistance - by the end of the conference, you will be glad you volunteered.
WI SHRM is committed to keeping our conference as green as possible. We make an effort to provide all information electronically. We hope to limit use of excessive paper by offering electronic conference materials such as the conference schedule, speaker information, accommodation and travel information, and more. Please consider accessing information electronically before printing. We appreciate your efforts towards keeping the conference green as well!
