2020 WI SHRM Student Conference & HR Games - March 13-14, 2020
It's hard to believe but the 2020 Wisconsin Student Conference and HR Games Competition inot far away! Volunteers have been hard at work planning a fun-filled, educational event.

Students - The top prize is $400.00.  This is just a reminder that Registration closes Feb 28th.  It's very important to register prior to the deadline to assure we have adequate food and arrangements made.  If you would like to attend but not compete, you are more than welcome to do so.  You would still need to register for the event.

If you haven’t started formulating your competition teams, I would encourage to start thinking about who you would like to compete with and register as soon as possible.  Additional information for the conference and registration can be found at https://www.wishrm.org/2020-HRGames.

We are in need of volunteers for the weekend!  This is a great way to give back to your profession and we certainly can't do this without our volunteers!  Click here to find out more information.

The summaries for volunteer options are listed below.

Judge (SPHR Certified): You control the room!  It is your job to make sure all scores are correct. It is also your responsibility to decide whether an answer provided by a team is correct or incorrect. If the answer the team gives is different from that on your answer sheet, use your discretion in ruling it correct or incorrect. Re-certification credits have been accepted for Judges at the HR Games.

Presenter: You keep the game moving!  You are responsible for introducing all volunteers and providing rules/announcements to competing teams.  In addition, it is your responsibility to read the questions for each team to answer and to determine which team buzzes in first.

Timekeeper: You are responsible for making sure the game stays on track with time.  It is up to you to inform the presenter if neither team answers in a timely fashion.  You also call the game when time is up.

Matrix Manager/Scorekeeper: You are the gamekeeper. You control the game board and make sure scores are calculating correctly. You also report final scores to the senior judge at the end of each game.
