Conference Information

SHRM Volunteer Leaders are among the most dedicated, passionate, and hard-working SHRM members. Whether you are a volunteer leader for your local chapter, student chapter, or the Wisconsin State Council; the 2024 WI SHRM Volunteer Leader Conference will be a fantastic opportunity to:

This year’s WI SHRM Volunteer Leader Conference will be held on August 8th & 9th at the Heidel House in Green Lake, Wisconsin. Event registration for volunteer leaders will be opened later in Spring, 2024. All SHRM volunteer leaders are encouraged to attend this conference to network, connect, and engage with your Wisconsin SHRM colleagues at this enriching and entertaining event. Whether you are an emerging or aspiring leader or someone that has been involved with volunteer leadership for years, you are sure to learn something new and make meaningful connections with other dedicated human resource professionals that will last long after the conference is over. 

The WI SHRM Volunteer Leader Conference Committee is enthusiastically planning great programming, engaging events, and valuable activities for you! You will leave this conference knowing more about the vision and mission of SHRM and Wisconsin State Council SHRM, gain in depth knowledge of our SHRM Core Leadership Areas, and learn how best to develop and maintain strong relationships and partnerships between SHRM, WI SHRM, our chapters, and our members.

Biography

Dani Stuhr is the HR Assistant Director at Festival Foods supporting 41 stores across Wisconsin.  In her role with Festival Foods she primarily focuses on employee engagement, employee relations counseling, performance management, and assisting in leading a team of 41 HR professionals.  She is a performance-driven professional with eighteen years of progressive Human Resource Management experience.  She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin – Stout.

Dani is currently on the La Crosse SHRM board, serving as the Programming Director.  She is also on the WISHRM Council serving as the Northwest District Director.  She has also served as the College Relations Chair, Certification Director, President-Elect, President, and Past President for La Crosse SHRM.  She has been a National SHRM member since 2014.  She is also a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

Dani and her husband Adam and their two dogs, Lexi and Zoey, live in Holmen, WI.  They are also foster parents who enjoy their time with the kiddos that come to stay with them.  In their free time they enjoy hiking, hunting, camping, reading, playing board and card games, spending time with their dogs, doing family activities with their foster kids, and spending time with their family and friends.
