Dual Membership Action Plan – Is a Required Component of your SHAPE Submission

Chapter Membership Directors are responsible for maintaining your Chapter's health and growth. As a board, we know that this cannot be accomplished alone. Developing and executing membership strategies is important for both growing your membership and retaining it.
As an affiliated local chapter to SHRM, we are required to submit our SHRM Affiliate Program for Excellence (SHAPE) application by January 31, 2025. The SHAPE requires the submission of a Dual Membership Action Plan. For those of you who are responsible for creating your Dual Membership Action Plan for the first time, you can take advantage of a presentation from SHRM that will provide you with some helpful tips and considerations that you may have not previously thought about. Do not forget to use your tools on the VLRC such as your chapter’s AMP (Affiliate Management Portal).
