Mid-Year Message from State Director Connie Bitter
HOT HOT HOT! That can be the definition of this gorgeous string of summer weather we are having or what programs we have coming up at WISHRM, both at the Chapter and State level! As we appreciate all the initiatives, programs and events our very dedicated and hard-working Chapters throughout Wisconsin have shared with us thus far in 2024, there is much more to come! All members who want to share good food and great learning can attend our Volunteer Leader Conference in Green Lake at the Heidl House on August 8th and 9th. Mary Cheddie SHRM-SCP, Divisional Director, East SHRM will provide insight into the SHRM structure and give us an overview as well as participate in many discussions throughout the conference. Registration is currently open but it’s limited so sign-up today!
The next opportunity to share in the excitement of WI SHRM is at our 2024 State Conference on October 9-11, at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells. The conference committee will again offer a hybrid event, with both in-person and virtual experiences. Whether you attend virtually, in-person, or a combination of both, there will be a variety of sessions (including Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., President and CEO of SHRM) to increase your HR knowledge and provide credits toward certification or re-certification. Thank you to all our volunteers for their time and talents in planning these events…it is truly appreciated.
