Recruiting New Members for Your Chapter
Recruiting members to join your organizations can be a challenge. As you know, you must always change your approach to attract a new member. As we know the more diverse our members are the more, we learn from each other. One of the great tools in our Membership toolbox is our opportunity to connect with others and learn from other chapters. SHRM offers Core Leadership Area (CLA) webcasts to education our Membership Directors with the tools and resources that can assist you and your chapter in successfully growing your membership. The CLA webcasts also provides an opportunity to network and build relationships with others. This can help to create a sense of collaboration and support, as well as provide the opportunity to exchange ideas and resources. Additionally, the CLA webcasts offer an opportunity to gain valuable feedback from other chapters. These webcasts will help you create strategies and tactics to engage and retain members. They will also provide insights into how to identify and target potential members, as well as how to build relationships and foster a sense of community. Finally, they will teach you how to leverage the power of social media to reach more potential members.

In addition, WI SHRM provides quarterly opportunities for our Membership Directors across our 18 chapters to celebrate wins, share best practices and provide each other support. WI SHRM also offers an online forum for our members to interact and ask questions. These events provide an opportunity for WISHRM members to interact, build connections, and network. They also help to build a sense of community among chapters and strengthen relationships between WISHRM members and the organization. Upcoming WI SHRM Membership Director Meetings are held at noon on the following dates:

- November 13
