WI SHRM State Director Holiday Message
Season’s Greetings to my WI SHRM family!! What a year it has been!! I’m not sure where the time has gone and as I write this message, I am wrapping up two wonderful years as your State Director. I cannot begin to thank all the volunteers throughout the State of Wisconsin for the countless hours of time that you have donated. We have achieved many successes this year both at the State Council and the Local Chapter level and I am so proud of the work you have done.
Thank you to the outgoing Council members, your contributions are so appreciated, and you will be missed!! To the incoming Council, I look forward to working with you as Past State Director and invite you to reach out to me with any questions you may have as you continue to advance the HR Profession in the State of Wisconsin.
As we move through the holiday season, please take some time to take care of yourself. We all have a lot going on and balancing our work life, our personal life and our volunteer life can be very challenging, and we are all at risk of burning out. Sacrificing our mental or physical wellbeing is not sustainable and I encourage you to lean on your WI SHRM family if you are struggling. On behalf of Wisconsin State Council SHRM, I wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy 2023!!
