Winter Testing Window & SHRM Recertification Policy Update

Update to SHRM Recertification Policy

SHRM had changed its recertification policy to help certified professionals maintain their certification.

As of August 1, 2019, certified professionals can earn Professional Development Credits (PDC’s) during the 60-day grace period.

For those who don’t want to worry about recertification and choose to recertify early, you can now begin earning PDCs for the new recertification cycle immediately rather than having to wait until the original recertification date.

Certified professional can now also carry over up to 20 PDC’s to the next recertification cycle!  That means if a person earns 75 credits for recertification, 15 beyond they required 60 credits to recertify, they’re are able to start the new recertification cycle with 15 credits.
