We are seeking a Human Resource Assistant to fill an essential role for our HR team and entire organization.  Specific responsibilities include:

• Manage and track requests for a leave of absence
• Document and manage the posting process for the hourly workforce
• Document and manage the entering of employee information into the HRIS System
• Schedule and present service awards to employees
• Manage the new hire and orientation process
• Engage in employee relations with discretion and confidentiality
• Make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations and laws.
• Other projects as assigned

• Bachelor degree in Human Resources or other related business field
• Three to five years human resource experience
• Experience working with federal, state and local laws to include but not limited to FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications
• A high level of organization and detail orientation
• Ability to function with multiple priorities and demands
