New SHRM Certification App
Make Recertification Easy
 
A new SHRM Certification app for iOS devices is available to help SHRM-certified HR professionals keep track of their recertification efforts. This new app was developed exclusively for use by SHRM credential holders with specially designed features to make it easier to maintain and recertify one's SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP designation. A version for Android is under development and is expected to be available in early 2017.
Certificants who install the SHRM Certification app on their mobile devices will be able to:

• View certification status and progress toward recertification.
• Find detailed information on recertification provider activities.
• Search and filter listings of pre-approved activities by competencies, date or location.
• Add professional development credits to the dashboard under the "Advance Your Education" section.
• Track recertification activities that have already been added.
• Receive notification of when it is time to apply for recertification.

SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification Exam Information
 
Don’t miss the October 21 application deadline for the SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP exam.

Demonstrate application of the universal behavioral competencies and technical knowledge essential for effective HR job performance. Prove not only what you know—but how you can apply that knowledge on the job.
 
If you haven’t already applied for the Winter SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP exam window, don’t delay—the regular application deadline is October 21! After this date, there will be a nonrefundable $75 USD application fee for applications through November 11.
 
These exams test both HR competencies and HR knowledge—and their application—to ensure an HR professional’s ability to demonstrate what they know, and what they can do with their knowledge in the variety of situations they encounter.
