2026 WI SHRM Student Summit Recap
The 2026 Student Summit brought together HR students, emerging professionals, and seasoned practitioners from across Wisconsin for a dynamic day focused on career readiness and real‑world skill building. Sessions guided students through the transition from student to professional, negotiating their first HR role, vetting employers for values alignment, solving engagement challenges using real workplace data, mastering behavioral interviews, and using AI responsibly to support professional growth. The Summit emphasized practical application, open dialogue, and strengthening the future HR talent pipeline.
