HR Manager / Health & Safety Manager
A&M Dittrich Mink Farm and the Goodrich Fur Farm are two related Mink farms in Medford, Wisconsin. Together with Norpol USA and American Feeds they belong to the Van Ansem Group.  At our farms, we work worldwide as a team and execute our work with passion. Job Summary
The HR Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resource function. This includes new Team Member procedures, (continuous) training, Team Member relations, health and safety of the workforce, etc. The HR Manager reports to the CEO.
Responsibilities
-          Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel
-          Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures
-          (Re)writes job descriptions as necessary
-          Conducts recruitment efforts
-          Analyzes, plans and conducts (new) team member trainings
-          Handles team member relations
-          Establishes and maintains team member records and reports
-          Maintains company organizational charts and team member directory
-          Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency
-          Interprets and advises on employment law issues
-          Deals with grievances and implements disciplinary procedures
-          Implements procedures and controls to support health and safety of the workforce
-          Promotes company’s mission and values
-          Complies with all quality and safety policies and procedures.
-          Supports CEO and other farm managers with activities to support the HR interest of company.

Education / Experience:
-          Bachelor’s or Associates Degree and two years of human resource experience
