Description: The Talent Acquisition Administrator develops and implements programs and policies that support and enhance the organization`s ability to attract and acquire talent for both corporate and agent opportunities. Responsible for managing and measuring the effectiveness of programs. Manages outsourced services and vendor relationships. Works with internal human resources partners to deliver key metrics on talent acquisition.

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of sourcing and recruitment practices.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of employment and labor laws and regulations.
 
Additional Job Information:
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with the recruitment module within Workday human resources management system is strongly desired but not required
  • While experience with project, program and vendor management is required, a human resources focus is strongly desired

Primary Accountabilities
Program Administration (50%)
  • Designs, develops, and delivers talent acquisition programs that are legally defensible and aligned to meet organizational needs. These programs guide the successful recruitment of employees, independent sales agents, and agents-in-training.
  • Oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of technologies and tools that support talent acquisition workflows and reporting needs.
  • Designs department policies and procedures. Designs and maintains process workflows and procedure manuals. Translates recruitment processes to other Human Resources areas and educates management and other areas of the company about recruitment strategies.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for corporate or agent recruitment programs and services. Responds to complex inquiries, issues, and complaints regarding company policies, plans, and procedures. Conducts research, resolves issues, or escalates to appropriate area.
  • Collaborates with Marketing to ensure the employee and agent career site offerings provide pertinent information and have a consistent look and feel.
  • Creates the communication strategy for changes in sourcing and screening programs. Develops and presents metric reports related to the programs.
  • Creates the communication and staffing strategies for staff reductions or job displacements.
  • Partners within Human Resources to develop and deliver key talent acquisition metrics.
  • Analyzes best practice tactics and organization trends to identify opportunities for program improvement. Develops and executes recommendations for program improvement and enhancement. Keeps abreast of changing work environments and priorities.

Project Management (30%)
  • Serves as a project leader for talent acquisition projects, delivering projects on time and within budget. Refines project objectives, scope, charter, cost/benefit, and impact analysis throughout the life-cycle of the project.
  • Applies corporate and divisional project and program management tools and methods including project planning, risk management, resource management, and scheduling to see efforts through to successful implementation.
  • Builds effective project teams, often involving cross-functional and cross-divisional resources.
  • Interacts, collaborates and negotiates with all project stakeholders and business partners. Assesses the impact to other departmental projects and programs. Reports project status to management.
  • Manages project communications, including planning, information distribution, performance reporting, and administrative closure.
  • Represents the Talent Acquisition Department as a team member on divisional and cross-divisional projects and teams.

Vendor Management (20%)
  • Manages the process to select qualified suppliers based on business needs.
  • Evaluates suppliers on a regular and ongoing basis to establish and maintain a preferred group of suppliers.
  • Institutes corrective measures with suppliers, including termination of supplier services as necessary.
  • Provides relationship management with vendors including general oversight, reporting, mediation of disputes on policy and procedure interpretation, resolution of escalated issues, oversight of general process audits and specific performance audits against service level agreements.
  • Ensures vendor(s) are providing cost effective and value-added services.
