Description: | The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for recruiting, hiring, orienting and onboarding caregivers to meet the staffing needs of Age at Home. Responsibilities also include staff training, staff relations and engagement.
Essential functions
Source, Recruit, and Hire Staff (Percentage of time: 80%)
-
Collaborate with Director of Operations and Care Team Manager – Age at Home, and Agrace Human Resources and Marketing Plan to develop and implement strategic marketing plan to generate regular streams of new caregivers.

Meet staffing needs by screening and hiring caregivers by conducting phone interviews, checking references and background checks, making offers of employment, and processing new hire paperwork.

Manage enterprise software recruitment platform and interface between recruitment and HRIS.
Onboard and Train Staff (Percentage of time 10%):
-
Set up new employees in recruitment platform and ensure interface to HRIS.

Conduct HR portion of new hire orientation with Care Team Manager.

Coordinate ongoing staff training through online education software at direction of Care Team Manager.
Staff Relations (percentage of time 7%)

Coordinate the assessment of staff performance and assist with coaching, correction, or termination.

Assist Director of Operations and Care Team Manager with engagement efforts for caregivers.
Other Duties (percentage of time 3%)

Ensure adherence to Age at Home policies and goals in compliance with Age at Home requirements.

On call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Proven success in recruitment of similar positions

Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle

Must be at least 18 years of age
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated success in recruiting and HR
-
Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
-
Experience using HRIS and recruiting software
-
Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others
-
Ability to be flexible in time and task to meet organizational needs with a high level of accountability

Ability to maintain confidentiality about patients, families, caregivers, staff, donors, and organizational intellectual property

Ability to read, write and speak English. Ability to also speak Spanish, preferred
