| Description: | Mead & Hunt, a nationwide professional services consulting firm, has an extremely rare full-time opening in our human resources department for a self-starter to get a foot in the door of the HR profession. This position will provide the selected candidate an opportunity to work on tasks and projects in the various areas of HR including recruiting, benefits, training, corporate communication, and legal/regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include data entry; creating and running reports; research and gathering information; creating and editing presentations; running errands. Occasional travel may be required. The successful candidate will have an associate degree or higher (or obtain the degree within six months of start date) in human resources, business administration, or related field; OR, if no degree, must have at least two years of equivalent experience in human resources. The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook, and PowerPoint; experience with data entry and running reports from databases; good research and writing skills; familiarity with/knowledge of state and federal regulations relevant to human resources.
