Turn Your Badge into a Better Job!
Back in 2021, SHRM transitioned its certification digital badge service to Credly, a market leader in the digital credentialing market. As part of the transition, certified members were sent an e-mail by Credly inviting them to claim their new Credly-issued badge for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP. If you are SHRM certified and accepted that invitation and are now sharing your badge on places like LinkedIn, Facebook and other social media sites, you are aware of some of the enhanced services Credly offers to increase the visibility of your credential.
One such service involves Credly’s and SHRM’s partnership with ZipRecruiter, a leading online employment marketplace that leverages artificial intelligence to actively connect millions of employers and job seekers. Through Credly, digital badge users can sync their badge to a profile they create in ZipRecruiter to bring prospective employers to them.
If you are SHRM certified and have not yet claimed your Credly-issued digital badge, we encourage you to do so right away so you can take advantage of this benefit and more. Here’s how to get started:
- Click on the following link: https://www.credly.com/users/sign_up
- Create an account using the e-mail address that this email that SHRM has on file for your certification.
- Once logged in, you will see your pending SHRM-related badge.
- Accept your badge and start sharing.
You’ve earned it, so now let your SHRM credential go to work for you!
