Partner with hiring managers to understand the specific needs for each open requisition to maximize the effectiveness of the recruitment process and attract and select the right talent.

Create and maintain job descriptions that accurately reflect the requirements of each position.

Strategically utilize sourcing tools to include marketing materials, job boards/postings, job fairs, high school youth apprentice programs, and college recruitment programs to source both active and passive candidates.

Obtain the assistance of an external professional recruiter as needed for high level positions. Coordinate recruitment efforts with partner staffing agencies as needed.

Document internal and external candidate activity via the Applicant Tracking System. Screen applications and recommend candidates to hiring managers. Schedule and conduct interviews, make job offers and coordinate all pre-employment testing.

Maintain candidate and internal communication throughout the entire process.

Maintain a positive candidate experience through effective new hire orientation.

Collects and compiles metrics associated with the recruitment process to include open positions, time to fill, sourcing data, etc.

Administer, track and case manage short-term disability (STD) and long-term disability (LTD), leave of absences, including FMLA.

Educate employees on various benefits and assist with open enrollment.

Perform various administrative duties related to human resources: employee correspondence, training/presentation materials, building new hire packets, file & organize records, etc.

Enter new hire, employment change, and employment termination information into the HRIS system. Run and analyze reports as needed/requested.

Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding policies, procedures, guidelines, and programs and provide guidance and interpretation.

Assist managers and supervisors with performance management & corrective action processes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Coordinate performance review and exit interview processes and maintain records; conduct analysis as needed.

Assist with Payroll entry, as needed.

Assists the HR Manager with various projects, as needed. Performs other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Associates degree in human resources or related field, or 3 or more years of experience in recruitment and human resources, manufacturing environment preferred.

Team player, positive, enthusiastic, approachable, detail oriented, and organized.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize, work independently, maintain confidentiality; excellent time management skills are necessary.

Professional and customer service oriented.

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relate to employees at all levels.

Demonstrate excellent judgement and decision making, with the ability to analyze situations and present appropriate resolution(s).
