Description: MSA has an opportunity for a full time Talent Acquisition Partner for any of the following office locations: Baraboo, WI; Dubuque, IA; Madison, WI; or Milwaukee, WI. The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for conducting full life-cycle recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and making candidate offers for jobs within our multi-discipline engineering consulting firm. This person will lead the strategic plan for our school recruitment partnerships and own our university and college career fair program. This is a newly created position for MSA, which will allow you to contribute your expertise, shape the role, and create meaning in an organization that exists to serve.

Responsibilities

The work you will do

  • Identify, build, and execute effective recruiting strategies for all types of jobs, from intern positions to experienced project managers
  • Coordinate with hiring teams to identify staffing needs
  • Work with hiring teams to build out job descriptions and post via the company’s career page, state job boards, and other niche job boards
  • Source candidates utilizing social media, resume databases, Boolean searches, industry contacts, professional networks, and career events
  • Use iCIMS to manage, review, and present candidates
  • Prescreen candidates via phone and/or video
  • Schedule interviews and prepare the candidate and hiring team
  • Support candidates throughout the process, serve as their main point of contact, and stay in contact with hiring team throughout the whole process
  • Process background and reference checks
  • Coordinate offers to candidates
  • Partner with HR colleagues to ensure seamless onboarding
  • Organize and manage the fall and spring career fair events
  • Work to ensure diverse, inclusive, and equitable hiring practices
  • Assist with the company’s Affirmative Action Plans
  • Manage the company’s employee referral program
  • Gather, analyze, and tell the story of recruitment metrics for understanding and decision-making
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, 1:1s, and strategy sessions

Qualifications

What you bring
Required Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s in Human Resources Management, Business, Psychology, or related field
  • 3 years of full life-cycle in-house recruiting experience in a medium to large business
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System
  • Demonstrated understanding of recruiting technology and trends, with ability to research new ideas and present recommendations to leadership
  • Demonstrated initiative and accountability
  • Ability to independently manage multiple competing priorities and constantly prioritize
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and service orientation
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a geographically dispersed team 
  • This position requires authorization to work in the United States.
