Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist
 
You will work closely with the firm’s partners, managers and supervisors to help Johnson Block find and onboard the best talent.  This is an outstanding opportunity to develop professionally in talent acquisition and onboarding.  We have amazing clients, amazing staff, and only want to hire other pretty amazing people, and that’s where you come in!
 
Position Description:
Coordinate and manage the human resource functions for all Johnson Block offices in the areas of recruitment, on boarding and employer branding.
 
Major Responsibilities Include:

  • Consult with partners regarding staffing needs to determine hiring needs
  • Write and post job openings and source candidates through various recruitment websites, job boards, social media and networking
  • Maintain communication with candidates and hiring managers at all stages of the recruitment cycle
  • Build and enhance talent pipeline to attract and retain passive candidates
  • Conduct interviews, manage selection process, prepare offer letters and perform background and credit checks
  • Conduct new hire onboarding
  • Create, review and update job descriptions to accurately reflect roles.
  • Oversee Paylocity Applicant Tracking System
  • Organize and participate in career fairs and hiring events both at the college level and for professional roles
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with colleges, faculty and student groups
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of full cycle recruiting experience for positions from entry-level to professional
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong networking and interviewing skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to set and manage priorities
