Job Summary:

The Recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers to ensure a strategic recruiting process in order to hire the talent needed by the business to achieve its goals. The Recruiter will perform all aspects of the recruitment effort for exempt and non-exempt personnel in a consultative manner with key stakeholders and approval of the Manager, Human Resources & Talent Acquisition. The Recruiter will assist the HR department in carrying out programs, processes, policies and procedures.

The Recruiter will assist in distributions and employee events; and engage in regular participation with the HR culture enhancement programs as assigned. The Recruiter may assist with preparation and maintenance of related HR policies/procedures, audit materials, employee communications and job descriptions. Additionally, the Recruiter will assist with special projects for organization-wide HR programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet with managers to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and required skills.
  • Assist managers with writing/updating job descriptions.
  • Create job requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (ADP) and post to intranet and outside job boards.
  • Actively source candidates through external recruiting sources and build a talent pipeline.
  • Attend job fairs, college fairs, etc. as necessary.
  • Assist managers with initial screening of applicant resumes.
  • May arrange interview schedules, travel and lodging for applicants as necessary.
  • Conduct telephone, video-conferenced, and in-person interviews to discuss benefits/culture and to obtain work history, job skills, salary requirements, etc.
  • Advise on offers of employment for specified positions.
  • Update and maintain Job Description data base.
  • Create/maintain Company Organizational Charts.
  • Provide deliverables for audits of HR information for MCO, URAC, NCQA, ACHC and other third party audits.
  • Conduct pre-employment background checks/drug screens through 3rd party vendor.
  • Participate in team building activities, culture teams, and company sponsored events.
  • Participate in process improvement activities and work in conjunction with HR team to build and enhance HR processes.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years full life cycle recruiting experience in a high volume, fast paced corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of advanced recruiting strategies used to find active and passive candidates.
  • Knowledge of general human resource programs, policies, and procedures as it relates to recruiting.
  • Understanding of state and federal laws related to employment practice strongly desired.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skill required.
  • Knowledge of / experience with HRIS products is strongly preferred: ADP Workforce Now!,very helpful.
