Description: | Jefferson County Human Resources department strives to provide high level public service by focusing on their objective to be a customer service focused team dedicated to being a resource to staff, managers, Board supervisors, and citizens of Jefferson County. The department handles recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, training and professional development, safety and health, employment law, employee and labor relations, and a variety of other tasks. The Human Resources department is currently hiring a Human Resources Coordinator to provide generalist support activities in the human resources area, focusing on recruitment and selection tasks, time-keeping and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) compliance, and Countywide training coordinator. As a knowledgeable, customer focused individual, you will be successful in this role by completing the below key tasks and responsibilities:
