First Callie Zipple Scholarship Winner Announced
The WI State SHRM Council would like to congratulate Amanda Wciorka, a May 2022 graduate from University of Wisconsin – Lacrosse who is our 2021 Callie Zipple Scholarship winner!
Callie Zipple was a determined and talented young woman who had a passion for life and a drive to make the world a better place. She modeled an ideal SHRM volunteer giving of her time and talents at the chapter, and state leader. This scholarship was created to award HR professionals’ financial support for future experiences and opportunities in the profession.
Amanda was selected by the Council as her passions for servant leadership and sustainability make her enthusiastic and interested in contributing to the profession of Human Resources Management. Amanda shared, “I’m energized by creating solutions and educating others on environmental concerns on global, national, local, organizational, team, and individual levels.” We are hopeful that the scholarship award will help Amanda as she prepares to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Business & Management with a minor in Psychology in the Spring.
