Biography:Broc Edwards is the founder of The Human Factor, a consultancy that helps leaders, teams, and organizations get better at the soft human stuff that drives hard business results: leadership, culture, strategy, innovation, communication, and learning and development. As a consultant, coach, and training facilitator he has worked with individuals, teams, and leaders in manufacturing, mining, banking, retail, not-for-profit, and government organizations in North America, Europe, and Australia.

Program Overview:Bold HR is a highly interactive workshop for anyone in HR looking to up the pace.

The world’s expectations of HR are rapidly changing and that brings tremendous opportunity and challenge. This is evolution is long overdue, but to the individual trying to get a job done, the reinvention of HR often seems overwhelming and disconnected from daily work. How do we meet rising demands of the field while staying focused on today’s job?

This workshop explores what it means to be bold, enabling each individual to identify exactly what bold looks like in their job, creating a highly personalized plan with immediate action steps. Whether you’re a senior VP of HR who wants to completely evolve HR at your organization or you’re just starting out in your career and want to get ahead of the pack, you can be bolder, play bigger, and create even better results.
Learning Objective 1:Defining what bold HR is and understanding the impact Bold HR has on employees, managers, and business results. Participants will explore how, through talent management, HR provides a direct connection to the organization’s competitive advantage, employee engagement, and performance and sustainability.
Learning Objective 2:Identifying the most important areas each participant want to improve in how they practice HR. This includes areas such as: developing strategic relationships, the connection of HR’s services to business strategies, initiating change to meet evolving business needs, strengthening communication, better vendor management, supporting implementation and use of technical tools and software.
