The Talent Management Advisor assists the department director by reinforcing Talent Management goals and desired future state. Facilitates and integrates the execution of the Talent Management strategy across the functional areas within and outside talent management, including but not limited to; talent acquisition, talent development, talent programs, and diversity and inclusion. This position provides project and program oversight and ensures alignment of strategic projects within the department and the rest of Human Resources. Assists department managers in defining, coordinating, and prioritizing project objectives and deliverables as well as work streams. Serves as a liaison and oversees multifaceted programs that require line of sight to the department director.

Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a project or program leadership role, develop consensus from a diverse work group, and motivate others into action plans.
Demonstrated experience communicating with all levels of company management.
Demonstrated experience utilizing advanced facilitation skills.
Demonstrated experience working with managers to understand departmental strategies and their impact on the management of people and HR policies and processes.
Demonstrated experience working in a human resources discipline.

Primary Accountabilities
Strategy Assimilation & Execution (65%)
 
Maintains an active awareness of American Family's business environments, corporate culture, and structure to support key decision-making.
Understands enterprise, corporate, division, and department strategies and initiatives. Partners with leadership to determine business imperatives and organizes deliverables.
Assimilate key enterprise strategies to ensure alignment and synergies with planning and processes.
Facilitates business planning for the department. Compiles the business plan and tracks progress against it throughout the year.
Exemplifies the strategic vision and viewpoint across TM and effectively influences TM leadership team.
Builds and fosters relationships with HR leadership and department managers.
Aggregates and reviews project plans to ensure collaboration, management, and coordination.
Aids managers in prioritizing deliverables and reviewing for alignment against department and division strategies.
Assists with identification of areas where process development will allow for customer centric approaches to TM programs or delivery of the programs.
Collaborates with corporate communications to develop employee-facing program and project communications.

Program and Process Management (25%)
 
Serves as a liaison and oversees multifaceted programs that require director oversight.
Coordinates vendor tracking and roll up reporting including budgeting oversight.
Prepares Board of Director materials for the Nominating and Governance Committee, Compensation Committee and full Board of Directors.

Consulting and Metrics (10%)
 
Partners with the HR analytics area to ensure data alignment with talent management business requirements and organizational strategies.
Evaluates talent management strategy and effectiveness across all functions to determine business and performance impact to organizational leaders. Reviews reports and leverages metrics to measure performance.
Effectively builds a business case when introducing recommendations or solutions and utilizes data to support decisions whenever possible.
