| Description: | Oversee and administer the county's recruitment, compensation and classification programs; reveiw and approve advertisement and job announcements; develop or reveiw existing exam questions; maintain advertising budget and keep track of balances; advise management on appropriate methods and classification processes; review and make determinations on reclasses; provide staff supervision to employees in division; manage layoffs and bump meetings; assist with department investigations; assist with county training; respont to and advise on personnel policies and procedures; provide employee development staff assistance through career counseling; and other duties as assigned.
