Description: The Senior Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for working closely with the Director of Human Resources to support the Human Resource (HR) functions of Easterseals Southeast Wisconsin in the areas of recruitment, retention and performance management. 

Talent Acquisition (Recruitment)
Create and maintains a comprehensive recruitment action plan including updating current and designing new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes); researching and choosing job advertising options Implement new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting and searches); recommending ways to improve our employer brand.
 
  • Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire)
  • Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques
  • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
  • Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform managers about changes in regulations
  • Participate in job fairs and career events
  • Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners
  • Develops strategies and selection procedures that create best fit between job applicants and available positions.
  • Networks with industry contacts, trade groups, and employees to find qualified candidates using both traditional and web-based social networking methods.
  • Utilizes creative methods to create interest in Easterseals as an employer and creates processes to engage managers in sourcing plans and activities.
  • Advertises open positions using a variety of outlets that have been identified as effective, including the Easterseals sites.
  • Ensures reference and background checks are performed for potential employees.
  • Extends offers of employment and schedule start dates.
  • Coordinates rejection letter/email distribution.
  • Maintain budgeted number of FTE’s monthly.
  • Interview and place candidates into all the departments.
  • Schedules hired for new hire orientation, CPR and CPI training
  • Oversees the maintenance of all applicant and interview materials and pertinent data in accordance with labor law
  • Create and maintain relationships with employees to increase retention and decrease turnover
  • Implement retention strategies and track/analyze for success
 
Talent Development
  • Supports talent acquisition initiatives in screening, hiring and on-boarding.
  • Coordinates the Peer Partnership Program for agency new hires, which includes the recruitment, training, and placement of employee mentors as well as the tracking, monitoring and evaluation of program activity and participants.
  • Compiles, tracks, and reports talent onboarding metrics quarterly and annually, which includes running reports, and collecting satisfaction data via course evaluations and engagement surveys. 
 
General Human Resources Support
  • Supports the Human Resource-led employee appreciation activities of the agency (i.e., distributing monthly employee birthday and anniversary awards, etc.), which includes assisting with newly developed initiatives as assigned.
  • Supports the Director of HR in internal communication efforts using various venues, which include distributing employee messages and managing content on the employee intranet.
  • Updates HR documents as required.
  • Participates in assigned meetings, professional development, and training as required.
  • Conducts regular follow-ups with manager to determine the effectiveness of recruiting initiatives.
  • Assists with organizational assessments as directed.
  • Assists with managing employee communication and feedback mechanisms.
  • Attends relevant conferences and career fairs to increase external awareness of the agency.
  • Serves on company-wide committees/projects as assigned.
  • Performs other duties (or functions) as assigned.
 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field, plus three (3) years of Human Resource experience required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of recruitment experience for both entry-level and management positions required. 
  • Extensive experience in candidate sourcing and pre-search development.
  • Experience with social media and other professional networks.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and HR databases.
  • A recognized certification in Human Resources preferred.
  • Travel between multiple sites is required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must have proof of auto insurance meeting the requirements of the Employee Driving Policy.
  • A Criminal Background Check must meet the requirements of the State of WI licensure for day programming.
  • A Credit Check is required for this position.
