Position Highlights
The HR Specialist position will specifically support talent acquisition and human resource functional activities related to the successful start-up and integration activities of operating facilities. The successful candidate will have the ability to travel frequently and work remotely until final assignment to permanent location is determined. This is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate with strong project management skills to interact closely with key functional leaders throughout the organization, including at the company’s new global headquarters campus in Neenah, WI.
Essential Job Functions
  • Support successful deployment of talent acquisition/management, employee engagement, leadership development, communications, compensation, and benefits initiatives
  • Provide guidance to site leaders that would foster a high performance workforce and assure compliance with local, state and federal law
  • Implement human talent strategies, programs and policies to assure company objectives in the areas of safety, productivity, quality, customer service, sales, human capital, cost and profitability
  • Support effective delivery of HR service to assigned location
  • Collect and analyze key HR metrics to support site business objectives
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of employee related data and documentation
  • Maintain industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources with four years of HR Generalist experience preferably in a manufacturing/supply chain environment
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, can work at assigned work locations for full weeks at a time and would also be mobile for future placements
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to present complex information
  • Solid ability in working with confidential information
  • Excellent communication and cross functional skills
  • Practical knowledge/compliance of federal and state employment regulations
  • Exceptional oral, and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal, problem solving , attention to detail and analytical skills
