RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB ACTIVITIES:
 
1. Recruit, interview and participate in the selection of all non-exempt operations employees.
 
2. Identify, design and coordinate ad placement of job postings for open positions.  This includes internal postings, web based postings, social media and print advertising. Coordinates and attends job fairs.
 
3. Maintain the applicant log, schedule interviews, administer pre-employment tests, conduct reference checks and assist with job offers. Send out “No” cards/letters to applicants not selected for interviews and/or position.
 
4. Manage the onboarding process of all new employees.  This includes coordinating the orientation schedule.
 
5. Complete e-verify and the Wisconsin New Hire reporting.
 
6. Manage HR Facebook postings and any other appropriate social media outlets.
 
7. Manage temporary employee(s). Coordinate, communicate and track needs with supervisors to various employment agencies. Reconcile invoices.
 
8.  Maintain turnover and production tracking reports.
 
9. Update and revise job descriptions as needed.
 
10. Assist with the coordination and implementation of various employee events.
 
11. Provide back up to other HR team members when needed.
 
12. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
 
13. Perform other related duties as required and assigned.  May need to be available to adjust work schedule occasionally.

 
EDUCATION:  Bachelor degree preferred, in Human Resource Management desired.
 
EXPERIENCE:  Two years experience in the recruitment & selection discipline of Human Resources. Prefer manufacturing environment, or any similar combination of education and experience. 
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Requires solid knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.  Good computer skills along with PowerPoint are important. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.  Position requires solid attention to detail, effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.  Must be accurate, organized and have the ability to multi-task.
 
EQUIPMENT OPERATED: Computer with various software programs and standard office   equipment.   
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Hand-eye coordination for typing and ability to sit for extended periods of time.
