We’re looking for an HR Generalist to play a key role in the success of Aqua Finance, Inc. by offering guidance on recruitment, terminations, performance management, employee relations and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management.

Summary of Duties & Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  •  Coordinate the recruitment process from requisition to hire, including sourcing, screening; evaluating and selecting candidates to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool by managing open positions
  •  Responsible for bi-weekly payroll administration.
  •  Assists department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees
  •  Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
  •  Assists in administration of compensation programs; helps to monitor performance appraisal process.
  •  Participates in benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, and approving invoices for payment.
  •  Assists in new employee orientations; administers pre-employment tests; conducts reference checks.
  •  Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
  •  Assists in exit interview process.
  •  Assists in organizational training and development efforts.
  •  Performs other related duties as required and assigned
  •  Coordinated implementation of employee benefit programs with related payroll reporting and deduction requirements.
  •  Assist in the mediation and resolution of employee and management disputes.
  •  Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, OR
  • Three to four years’ experience in the HR field, OR
  • Similar combination of education and experience will be considered
  • PHR or SPHR is a plus
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a spectrum of personalities as well as excellent listening skills
  • Drive to maintains a strong relationship with all employees
  • Self-starter with ability to identify needs and areas of impact, as well as potential solutions
  • Team player who works well under pressure, and is flexible in the face of changing priorities and needs
  • Superb attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong prioritization skills and a track record of consistently going above and beyond with outside-the-box thinking
  • Strong Computer skills with working knowledge of Windows applications
  • Incredibly bright individual who works well under pressure and has a passion to learn and contribute
  • Must have the ability to be flexible in response to changing priorities and needs
  • Ability to change quickly with the needs of a growing company

Employment Term:  Regular

Employment Type:  Full Time

Location: Wausau, WI / Schofield, WI 

Hours per Week:  40+

Work Hours (i.e. shift):  Consistent Schedule between 7AM to 6PM 

Starting Salary Range:  $40,000 to 55,000 Based on Experience
