We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Human Resources team as a full-time Benefits Specialist.  The Benefits Specialist provides overall assistance to the Human Resource Department, specifically benefits, and provides customer service to all employees. 

We are lookig for an individual who possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and one year of Human Resources experience in benefit plan administration or a high school diploma and one year of Human Resources experience in benefit plan administration.  The ideal candidate would be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite and confidentiality is essentiaal to this position.

Key Responsibilities Range:
  • Provides general customer service to all employees regarding all company beneifts, including but not limited to: answering their benefit questions, resolving problems related to access or payment of benefits, and processing benefit relatd paperwork.
  • Enters and maintains employee recrods and PHI files.  Keeps employee records up-to-date by accurately entering employee status changes into employee database and payroll system in an efficient manner.
  • Assists with preparing governement-mandated reports (i.e. 1095-C documents, Section 125 Non-Discrimintation Testing, etc.)
  • Administers leaves of absences, including short- and long-term disability, FMLA, and personal and military leaves.
  • Assists with the facilitation of the open enrollment process.
  • Assists with communicating information to employees, former employees, and dependents about benefit programs, procedures, changes, and government-mandated disclosures.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
