Description: | Quartz is seeking a motivated, organized professional to join our organization as a Talent Development Specialist. This role is responsible for assessing, designing, and delivering talent development solutions with organization-wide impact. This position will partner with content experts and organizational stakeholders to analyze development needs, and research and apply leadership development best practices to build competency-based talent development programs. This role will actively work to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement, and has expertise in the field of talent management, adult education, instructional design, project management, succession planning, and change management. Key responsibilities: • Determine organizational needs by analyzing outcomes of performance reviews, surveys and regular consultations with learners and their leaders • Serve as a consultant, coach, and resource to leaders to analyze and address team and individual development needs • Based on needs, design and deliver organizational learning through a variety of formats including classroom, instruction, webinars, and eLearning • Produce training materials appropriate for effective delivery • Responsible for managing Talent Management System (TMS) to ensure eLearning is efficient and effective • Establish and maintain best practice governance around TMS administrator and learner levels and promote usage organizational-wide to ensure efficiency in learning. • Evaluate overall learning strategy for success and effectiveness. Regularly report progress to leaders via metrics and advise next step best practice learning and development against future strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational communication, or related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree • At least 5 years of organizational training or education experience focused on talent development, or related experience in human resources, performance consulting, or organizational development • Knowledge of HR employment law and talent management solutions and experience in using learning technology is required • Expertise in: performance management, professional development coaching, employee engagement, team dynamics, succession planning, 360-degree assessments, change management, process improvement, project management, DiSC behavioral, and cultural competencies • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite • Knowledge of using learning development software • Strong consulting and relationship building skills • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with thorough knowledge of adult learning principles • Track record for functioning independently and as a team member and consistently delivers quality outcomes This position is available in the Madison office with some travel to other locations in WI as needed.
