This a Full time position 40 hrs/wk creating and attracting people to apply who want to work with our organization!
20-24.50 p/hr.
 
PURPOSE: Coordinates the hiring process through the management of Social Media and other on-line outlets, coordinates new employee orientation, leads employee appreciation programs, performs appropriate record keeping and assists in the daily operation of the human resources aspect of the facility to assure provision of quality services to employees and residents.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Responsible for successful recruitment campaigns using Social Media and other on-line resources.  This includes advertising campaigns, management of Attic Angel Social Media accounts, on-line job postings and any new resources available.
  • Management of Attic Angel employment reviews on sites such as Glassdoor, Facebook and other on-line avenues.  Responsible to respond to all reviews and comments if possible and manage campaigns for positive reviews.
  • Responsible to represent Attic Angel at the Social Media Breakfast and any other Social Media educational opportunities.  Apply what is learn and teach others.
  • Coordinates the hiring process for non-clinical Managers including recruitment, application screening, applicant screening through first interviews and/or phone screens, recommendations to Managers about 2nd interviews, reference checking, criminal background checking, offering positions, and coordination of pre-employment health assessments.
  • Sources candidates using the internet, social media, resume databases, schools, associations, cultural groups and other resources on a daily basis.
  • Coordinates the electronic on-boarding process and performs human resources orientation for new employees.  Makes sure all the proper paperwork is completed and in employees' files.
  • Advises managers about the employment process and employment law.
  • Attends local career fairs and other opportunities in the community to market Attic Angel as an employer of choice.
  • Responsible for maintenance of electronic applicant tracking system and on-boarding system as well as training managers to fully utilize the systems.
  • Takes a leadership role in the facilitation of employee referral and recognition programs.  Serves as the leader of the Employee Appreciation Committee.
  • Generates and posts employee anniversary recognition list monthly.  Prepares for anniversary lunch including creating invitations, delivering invitations, maintaining RSVP list, creating place cards, and setting up for the lunch.
  • Maintains and provides appropriate employee lists for annual recognition program.  (Recognition Tea) Obtains appropriate catalogs for employees to select a gift based on their years of employment.
  • Maintains the Shining Star Program.  This includes ordering items for the store, maintaining the store in a secure area, communicating about the program, and updating the program as needed.
  • Reviews policies and practices.  Makes changes/updates recommendations to the Chief Administrative Officer.
  • Provides written and oral employee verification information.  This includes providing salary and work history statistics to lending institutions, human services agencies, etc.
  • Tracks licensed professional renewal dates.  Sends notifications 1 month in advance of expiration to ensure licenses remain current at all times.
  • Maintains HR Metrics such as TB tests, license renewal, hiring statistics and other data as requested.
  • Responsible to run and file the 4-year criminal background checks required by the state regulations.
  • Develops and maintains effective working relationships with fellow employees, residents, their families, volunteers, and the general public.
  • Orders employee name badges and distributes them accordingly.
  • Maintains employee lockers including; assigning a locker to new hires, tracking terminations to identify open lockers, cleans out lockers with items left by former employees, maintains ongoing locker tracking system.
  • Provides back up to the Employment Coordinator and HR Generalist.  Relieves Receptionist for breaks/lunches (alternates with other employees).
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  •  A bachelor's degree in Human Resources from an accredited college or university is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Two years Human Resources experience is preferred.
  • Two-four years' experience in healthcare marketing using social media resources.           
  • Proven knowledge of social media management and internet analytics.
  • Experience recruiting in the health care industry is preferred.
  • Experience with electronic applicant tracking, on-boarding, file management, and HRIS systems is preferred.
