We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our leadership team in Monroe, WI!

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for driving and delivering results in recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, compliance, training and development.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Motivates and directs HR personnel
  • Responds to employee questions or complaints in a timely manner
  • Ensures legal compliance throughout human resource management to include Wage and Hour, OSHA, Unemployment Compensation, EEOC, etc. and attends meetings and hearings representing MTE
  • Manages the recruitment and selection process to attract great candidates
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Counsels employees and managersin relation to current policies and procedures, including problem solving procedures and employee performance/conduct issues
  • Oversees Safety program and worker's compensation administration to promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization
  • Designs, evaluates and modifies benefits policies to ensure they are current, competitive, and in compliance with legal requirements
  • Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental, and disability insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence and employee assistance
  • Plans and oversees new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward MTE goals
  • Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance management and review, safety, diversity and harassment
Position Requirements:
  • 7+ years' experience in Human Resources
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels of internal and external organizations; ability to gain and maintain the cooperation and participation of others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Some travel required
