Description: | SWIB is seeking a junior-level Human Resources Generalist to joing its dynamic and fast-paced Human Resources Team. The person chose for this position will have an opportunity to work in most functional areas of Human Resources including recruitment, onboarding, HRIS, performance management, learning and development, and benefits.
Essential activities:

Provide daily support for the recruitment process, including advertising, scheduling interviews, facilitating background and reference checks, maintaining recruitment-related files, and producing reports

Act as a liaison between the job candidates and the HR Team, SWIB travel staff, and relocation services
-
Prepare informational packets for interview teams, interview candidates, and new employees
-
Coordinate new employee orientation and onboarding

Work closely with team members on SWIB's Intern Program

Assist in the administration of different HR systems, including applicant trakcing software, HRIS, and the performance management system

Coordinate HR sponsored activities such as career fairs, open houses, and summer picnic
The ideal candidate will have:
-
A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related required
-
At least two years of HR experience with a good understanding of several HR functions

Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail
-
Experience with Microsoft Office
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor
-
An ability to be adaptive and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment

The position requires U.S. work authorization and residency in, or willingness to relocate to, the Madison, Wisconsin area. SWIB is prepared to offer relocation assistance as needed.
