| Description: | The role of the HR Manager is to increase the effectiveness of the organization by maximizing the contribution of our associates. The role will serve as the HR generalist working with an Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), providing delivery of HR services and business results to the assigned client groups within Schneider. This role also supports the HRBP in a variety of department projects and initiatives. Primary dutes include: Associate Development- Coach and mentor line leaders on associate training and development and advise leaders on the most effective use of their people's skills. Assist with associate development (including providing training) which may include coaching leaders on progressive discipline. Associate Relations- Support Schneiders "Pro-Associate" approach through administration of our associate survey and help create the action plans to follow. Follow up and investigate associate concerns (harassment, discrimination, etc) and create actions to address. This includes administration of Schneiders' Fair and Equitable process. HR Legal Compliance- ensure leaders are trained and aware of employment laws that affect them. Coach leaders through decisions bringing your HR expertice of the law to the table. Support Schneider's LEAN methodology and help leaders through process improvements, automation, and other best practice changes. **Hiring Manager for this role is a National and local SHRM member and is SPHR and SHRM-SCP certified. |
