Description: | Madison College is seeking an energetic, highly skilled self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast paced leadership environment to join our team as a Human Resources Business Partner. The Human Resources Department is responsible for advancing the College’s mission and vision. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a key role in building collaborative work relationships that focus on customer-centered service and continuous improvement throughout Madison College. This position is fully dedicated to internal clients, their needs and their duties within designated units and serves as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues.
2. Consults with key leadership in assigned business area to problem solve and identify leadership, talent and capabilities gaps and subsequently design and implement organizational capability. 3. Designs, directs and creates workforce planning strategies for each client with action of how, when and where. 4. Partners with Leadership to enhance talent review, high potential identification and succession planning. 5. Partners with College Administrators regularly to support business unit. 6. Provides counsel on performance management issues (coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, terminations, and appraisals), conflict management and change management, workforce planning and manages performance assessment practices.
7. Investigates and responds to employee relations issues. 9. Supports Madison College Diversity and Inclusion efforts. 10. Prepares and presents training activates related to general human resources needs, i.e. employee relations, policy and interpretation, performance management, etc. 11. Recommends and assists with the development of new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. 12. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR team to develop solutions, programs and policies. 13. Conducts exit interviews and make recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement. 14. Promotes excellence, fosters and leads mindset shifts, integrates new approaches to make difficult decisions and approaches to problems.
15. Work Collaboratively with Benefits and Compensation team members to administer pay levels and administer Family Medical Leave.
