Description: Director of Human Resources
 
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for carrying out Access Community Health Centers (Access) staffing activities consistently with Access policies and procedures. Related functions include recruitment, employee relations, benefit administration, compensation, professional credentialing, training, maintenance of Access Intranet site and affirmative action. In this position, you will directly supervise and oversee the work of the Human Resources (HR) staff. You will participate in developing goals, objectives and systems applicable to Access staffing and is instrumental in attracting, retaining and developing a diversified and competent staff. In this role, it is necessary that you ensure adherence to affirmative action/equal employment opportunity, FMLA, COBRA and ERISA regulations and all other applicable HR laws and regulations.
Location: Access Administration Building, 2901 W Beltline Hwy Madison, WI 53713
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hours may vary based on need.

Skills & Requirements:
Required:
1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources with at least 3 years human resources experience or Associate’s degree with at least five years human resources work experience
2. Recruiting experience
3. Prior experience directly supervising staff.
4. Employee Benefits Experience
5. Experience working independently and being able to complete core human resource activities with limited supervision required
Preferred:
1. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification
2. Health Care Experience highly preferred
3. Experience with diverse populations
4. Experience as a supervisor
